Calais came to us from Holmrun dobermans, She was purchased specifically as our foundation bitch. She possessed not only an excellent pedigree but an extraordinary temperament with a special fondness for children. She was loyal to a fault , my darling " velcro" dog and my constant shadow. She was an incredible example of the breed and an excellent producer from her first litter of 4 we have 2 group placing Canadian Champions. From her second litter she had an American Champion, a Specialty Best of Breed winning Canadian Grand Champion and an additional 3 Canadian Champions.
